Lakeside Polymer Services provides solvent-based and water-based primers to improve the adhesion of plastisol to metal substrates. Lakeside Polymer Services primers may be applied via dip, spray or flow-coating.
Lakeside Polymer Services has two types of solvent-based primers available, one that requires a pre-bake and the other which does not require a minimum pre-bake temperature for substrate adhesion. The non pre-bake primer allows the customer to modify techniques and processes. Solvent based primers can be clear or pigment to customer’s requirements.
Lakeside Polymer Services water-based primers are non-flammable. Contact Lakeside Polymer Service for special care on how to process water-based primers, as special instructions are needed vs a standard solvent based primer.
